Wasn't meant to be a competition, but OP asked "how far would you drive for 4 nights?". I drove 900+ miles to visit with my daughter over 4 nights. So would I drive 750 miles to visit family? Absolutely.

We are planning a trip to visit family in northern Indiana from central Maryland. That looks to be about 500 miles. The DW has to work on Thursday evening (she's not retired) so we will leave from home at about 2130 and knock out a few hundred miles. We will stop for the night (a few hours sleep) at a friendly Cracker Barrel (TBD) and then finish the trip the next day. On the way back we will knock out a few hundred miles and stop for the night at a KOA (already reserved) in Ohio then finish the trip.

That head start on a Thursday night is a common occurrence for us.
