Been happy with our 2013 Grey Wolf 28BH. A few minor issues that the dealer resolved, and one "medium" issue when we parked at a campground. Break away controller shorted out and melted, but luckily we were parked. FR customer service reps were very friendly and prompt and had someone local out the next morning to repair. Had to pay for parts and labor though. Something FR said we get reimbursed for, but turns out not. Overall, have been very happy.

To add insult to injury with my Apex, the right brake light failed this weekend. Turned on my "redneck christmas lights" to find it wasn't on. Slapped the cover and it started working. The next morning I pulled the lens off, popped the bulb out and a spring and 2 pieces of plastic came flying out. Off to the nearest local RV store for a new assembly. Hoping I'll be reimbursed for this unnecessary expense.
Yes, many of the issues I've had can be placed in the Minor category but in the 7 months I've owned this rig, it's spent at least 2 months of that time sitting at the dealer waiting for parts and service. The only reason I had it for this weekends trip was I got tired of waiting for parts (new entry door and window, both warped from the factory) to arrive before I can use it.
Now due to the door being so hard to latch, requires us to slam the door, the trim pieces surrounding the door are falling off. You can watch the side wall deflect when the door is latching because the door and frame are bad. I'm wondering how long it's going to be before the sides start delaminating and I have to leave it for even longer. I'm ready to dump this camper for something better built and of better quality.
I was even told by the dealer I bought my replacement parts from this weekend, that he wouldn't take my trailer as a trade in for another trailer.

This our 1st go around with any RV. We bought a used georgetown motor home by RF. We know that they be some little things that would need repaired or replace so we made a deal that the dealer would fix the item we had on our list and we would buy the mh. Happy with the MH but will never walk thru the doors of that dealer again. Nothing but lie's and delays. The service manger and I got in a yelling match(almost came to blows)after he insulted my wife and I. I am normally calm type but these people are the most none professional i have ever ran upon. What really bug me was that they did all this under the pretext of the good Lord.

So far, very good and happy with our purchase. We researched around regarding the pop-up's and then decided on the 208 MAC model that fit our layout option the best. Dealer was great, did a very nice walkthru during delivery, and has responded to all questions asked with a very helpful attitude. The camper product itself we are very pleased with and haven't had any issues so far besides one blown fuse, which was replaced and all wiring checked by the dealer. I'd definitely look to purchase another FR product in the future.

Flagstaff 829FKSS
We are very happy with our 2010 829FKSS. We have taken it thru the Canadian Maritime provences, around the great lakes, North Carolina and scores of shorter trips with very few problems. We have toured the Flagstaff/Rockwood Classic plant twice and were very impressed both times. We have some friends who own a Sunnybrook Titan and they are actually considering FR after seeing them built. Our FR is far and away better than our last unit, a 2006 Holiday Rambler Savoy.. We would definitely buy another Flagstaff.

Bought a 2011 Leprechaun (new) in May 2012, have had a couple of small issues, biggest one being the power step quit working, drove 350 miles for warranty work, they had to order a new control module, got it 3 weeks later installed myself, still didn't work, called the dealer who responded that yeah they sent the old one back and said its good. Motor home is great (so far) and a new shop opened only 100 miles away.

My wife and I bought our 2006cherrokee 30f brand new in 06we have used it well over 350 notes and have loved it every nite out the floor plan is exactly what we were looking for .we went to a large camping show last winter and looked at dozens of new rigs and we didn't find a single new rig that we would even trade even up for the fit and finish of our camper was very acceptable the only issue that we had was a couple of bent window blinds which the dealer fixed before delivery and after delivery we found that the cable to the antenna was not hooked up the dealer fixed it and its been great ever since we even like the concert one audio system and surruond sound hooked it up to my sat receiver this year and found that sirrus/XML off the dish sounds great inside and outside on the outdoors speakers I have done a few modifications that improved the unit a great deal such as fausets, stool, love seat instead of studio couch but we love our camper

We bought our 2013 Sierra 365SAQ in June and while we have had a few minor problems, and one I would consider closer to serious problem, it has been a good trailer. This is our second new trailer and I've come to terms with the "fixing" required on a new unit - even though it still drives me crazy. I must say after 20+ nights in it since picking it up we are very happy.

We sold a Skyline Malibu that we loved to buy our new Surveyor. People said we were crazy to put more money in a new trailer. We could not be happier with our purchase and don't regret spending the additional money to get it. So far, any dealings we have had with FR have been very positive!

i think the day after a weekend camping trip where something goes wrong (engineering wise) should be called "slap an engineer day".
any engineer volunteers?

We have 2009 Cedar Creek 36RD5S. Ordered the 5th wheel and it is just what we wanted, minor problems, ALL fixed under warranty, by factory service (took one day, twice to do the warranty work, about a year apart). Dealer was NO help and lied about almost everything, but Cedar Creek did make everything right, what the dealer did and lied about. But the unit is solid and will purchase another, if we live that long.

Well, we've had our 2012 27RKSS a couple months and only been out on 2 trips so far. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase. The value for the money seems respectable. Trailer has been back to the shop once already for some warranty repairs. The big issue was that the fridge quit working on trip #2. Took over a month to get fixed so that does not make me happy but at least it is working now and getting ready for trip #3 this weekend.

Did you get your RV in Cleburne? Fun Time used to be Fun Town. They reopened as Fun Time and its the same people working there. Heres a link to read:

We are loving the Crusader, and have no issues after the few minor fixes were done at the dealer (Liberty RV in Liberty, MO) under warranty prior to taking possession.
We are happy and very satisfied with our purchase and feel we got a lot of trailer for the $$$. We have slept comfortably in nighttime temps ranging from just below freezing to into the 80's.
I also like the way this rig tows!
Would highly recommend this unit!

We have a Sabre RKOK and love it! We had some minor repairs we had take it in for. Propane tank leak, bathroom door didnt shut properly, piece of trim outside coming loose, leak in bedroom slide, hinge on outdoor kitchen door coming off and the dining room table didnt have any varnish on it. Took it in for the warranty work and got it back and when we opened the slide there was a big gash in the floor that wasnt there when it went in. Of course they are looking into it but its been a 6 weeks and havent heard a thing from them! We would of had the floor fixed even at our cost if it was there when it went in for the warranty. Nothing really we can do, its our word against theirs. The next closest dealer for warranty work is 5 hours away.

I am happy to see that most people have had good luck with there units, however i was not so lucky....I had two 2006 8314ss models in the same year both brand new, the first one I had just for 8 days just setting in the driveway waiting for the first camping trip when I noticed delam started on the bedroom wall on the out side of the camper, this unit was sent back to Forest River, the second one started falling apart right after the warrenty was up, from the floor comimg apart to screws backing out of the edge of the roof under the roofing material, four times with slide out problems and just about any thing else that can go wrong including hitch work from the dealer which caused me to almost flip both the trailer and my Suburban on interstate 76.
A year ago while we where living in the trailer waiting for our new house to be completed a 12" limb from a tree feel 15' and came crashing down on the top of the trailer while we where in it, needless to say it was totaled. We have been looking for a new one but see nothing we like for now.
We are going to Hershey PA for the RV Show in a few weeks maybe we will find one there, but it may not be a Forest River Product...............
I would like to wish you all the best with your Forest River Product

ive been very happy with the unit that i purchased .. however i find that both service from the dealer, and customer service from the actual company is sadly lacking.
the service from the dealer is poor, if not faulty, due to pushing units in and out as fast as possible, trying to get as much warrenty " bang for the buck".
i have written emails to two forest river warrentee " specialists", who never answered me back concerning a leak in the window of my Aframe.
Good product ... id say yea ...
Good service .... a big no ...
in this day of interactive media ... wise up FR.

First post so I hope this is going in the right place.
The design and concept of our Hard Side pop-up A-frame T12RB is outstanding however the construction and quality are cheap. I wish I had crawled around the underside before buying. The OSB floor underneath the trailer had the lightest coat of paint on it. Wires and LPG piping were not secured very well beneath the trailer. Furnace and stove top vibrated loose on 1st and second trips and the roads were not that rough. All of the upholstery had excess threads everywhere. I removed the microwave for more storage and was amazed at how poorly built the cabinet was and all the wiring just thrown in. The gas hose is barely long enough to reach the external BBQ. I keep cutting my hands on the exposed screws in the storage and appliance bays. The trailer is at the dealer right now to have one of the skylights resealed.
The floor plan and design features are well thought out and the camper is comfortable the construction and quality are poor especially for the price.

I have a 2013 Puma Unleashed 356QLB that is two months old. I am having electrical problems with the junction box for the truck plug under the 5th wheel, and have had many quality issues with the inside. I am VERY unsatisfied with the dealer (Tom Raper) and Palomino due to the fact that they wont stand behind their product and cover the electrical under warranty despite the fact the camper is only 2 months old.
