Bought in SC and received 30 day temporary registration and plate. Takes about 2 - 3 weeks until paperwork comes from SC. Take it to NC DMV and pay taxes and registration. Done in minutes.

Bought in Ohio, live in Nebraska. Took 45 days before I received a notice that title was sent. Never got it as it went straight to lender. Another 30 days later my title office funnily got it from my lender...very frustrating and I thought I'd surely get pulled over or fined. Thankfully nothing happened and I was able to get plates after season was done 😁

I thought that we were complex here in Canada if we imported a 5th wheel into Canada from the USA. I was complaining about less than an hour in multiple stops and registering it on line to get a Canadian Saftey Registration sticker from the Federal Registar of Motor Vehicles. The key documents were the sales invoice to charge GST (VAT) federal tax against the TT and the Certificate of Origin to prove that it was manufactured in NA and not liable to any Duties. That piece took 15 minutes at the border. Then there was a five minute saftey inspection by a local shop that sent an approval electronically to the Registrar of Motor Vehicles and then off to the Liscensing Bureau and pay the Provincial Taxes and walk out with plates 10 minutes later. Days elapsed about three if you were in a hurry waiting for electronic approval turnaround.
