We drive about 1.5 to 2 hours before stopping for a 30 to 40 minute break. We then switch off driving. I do not have a miles per day, we just do this until we are tired. This is probably 8 hours at most... we will also leave late when we get home from work to drive 2 hours or so then park at a rest area to help lighten the driving miles.

I drive until I get there, or until I get tired. I've been known to drive 16-20hrs. Usually stop for fuel every 4-5 hours. The family is usually my limiting factor though.

We drove from Hagerstown, MD to Helen, GA in one trip. About 600 miles. Took 11 hours down and 11 hours back. That was too much. 9-10 hours is going to be my max from now on. Our plan is to visit all 50 states. 19 down so far, but the trips are going to start getting a lot longer.

We travel usually between 10 am and 2 pm....56-58 mph....stopping at almost every rest area.....have leisure lunch at one of the rest stops in trailer....or on picnic bench.
On big day we travel from 9 30 am to 3 pm.....with same stops as above...this gives us time to finish coffee and is early enough of peaceful set up for the night.....and if like the place stay till done exploring.....so we have no mileage limit...is a time limit...

On our recent trip to Colorado and New Mexico our longest day was close to 600 miles. That day was too long. I try to stay around 65mph on the interstate when towing.

In Canada our longest was 360 miles (about 6 hours) and will overnight in walmart, until we reach our destination.
Going south through the US haven't done more than 250 miles per day.
60 to max 65 Mph.
We always book the CG ahead.

I am happiest at 400 or less miles at 62 mph. That gives me ample set-up/tear down time and a comfortable drive. But, if I need to get there (or back), I can do 600+.

We try to get in 300 miles a day. With stops for us and the pups and fuel that comes close to an 8 hr day. 60 mph max on good roads less in some places. Our last trip to Glenwood Springs, Co one overnight stop at walmart, a 3 day stopover at Red river, NM and into Glenwood Springs Co. About 1000 miles turned into a 5 day trip. We are retired, if we like an area we stay awhile.

I haul rv's for a living so when I'm working I pull around 625 miles a day at 62-65 mph. 6 days a week. When pulling our rv on vacation we have never gone more than 250 in a day.

You must spend a lot of time overnight in rest areas etc... What's your favorite stops or do you get motel?

No motels, I have removed the back seats and replaced them with mattresses. I haul to one dealer so I have been traveling the same route for many years. I sleep at truck stops. In 10 years I have never had a problem.

We went to Yellowstone in 13, from NC to Yellowstone and back in 3 weeks. We stopped in Pigeon Forge on the way back four days, we stopped in Lincoln NB for 3 days. We were in Yellowstone for 8 days. The most I drove in one day was 900 miles. Most days 500 miles. No more of that, DW retires February 29. Now the plan is drive 1 day camp 3 days, plus only drive 5 hours a day.

Whatever 5 hours or so travel will get us is what we travel. Try to be on the road by 9-9:30 and wrap up by 4 with a lunch stop and a 15-20 minute break morning and afternoon. If we have some deadline or destination we crank it up a notch but that's a typical day for us.
