I did around 6000 miles in 2018...

Thought I was going to full time for a couple of years, but ended up finding a place in the desert Southwest...

Probably will maybe get 1000 miles, although thinking about selling the 5'ver...

My wife and I had to decide on that last year- I opted for a real passport because, heaven forbid, we had family with a emergency and we had to get back ASAP.

Most places are drivable to the border but I didn’t want to have to worry about it.

I have read of people being denied access even with (only) a Nexus card. I would not try to cross the border either way without a passport.

We will probably have about 2,500 miles of windshield time this year. Our highlights will be visiting Cannon Beach, OR (500 miles) and also traveling to Glacier National Park (1100 miles). Other trips will include many Western WA destinations and one or two trips to Eastern WA.

When you have a job with limited vacation time plus kids in school or you want to go to a highly popular destination like Disney or Yellowstone, planning ahead is mandatory.

Then, across and down the west coast on the Redwood highway to the north Bay Area. And then, back to MO on the southern route I40 in late September.

It will all add up to about 8000 miles this year, but the planning is as much fun as the trip.

We've taken many routes to the west over the years, and always like to explore any sites along the northwest about the Oregon Trail, and the Lewis and Clark Corp of Discovery, so there will be plenty of places to allow time for.

This may not be much compared to some of our Canadian brothers who travel far into the US south for the winter, but it would be interesting to know others long trip plans.

What a Country!
At present we are at 3920 and 4 months to go...being retired and a Winter Texas helps with putting on the milage.
Happy Trails

Our first 5 trips through September this year come to about 7,000 miles. We will take a few short trips later but haven't got them planned yet.

17000 miles last year and we have about 13,000 scheduled for this year. Hey, will be in Glacier National Park in August as well pulling a 31-foot bullet premier. Staying on the West Side probably at the KOA, very nice. Don't forget about the red tour buses at the park

With our home base is in Wilmington, NC , we have towed 5078 miles per my logs with an average MPG of 10.2 using a RAM 1500 pulling a Rockwood 2902WS.
Been up to DC, western NC, and I just got back from a long trip to Florida across the pan handle, down the gulf coast, thru the everglades, down to keywest and back home up the Atlantic side. Boondocking/drycamping about half the time.
I have many more trips planned, may go out west too.

Planning our spring trip from just outside Savannah by way of the Grand Canyon to Yosemite. Then up to the Bay area, Lake Tahoe, Salt Lake and Denver, then maybe home. Grass will be needing to be cut by then. Probably 7000 miles on this, then a fall trip to New England. Maybe 2500?? Week long and weekend trips, another 1500 miles, Total about 11,000. Almost ready to go, come on April 15th.

Last year probably 7000 miles.
