I do as mtnguy does, but I add just one capful after emptying, and one or two gallons of water to the black tank. Nothing in the gray tank, as I've never noticed any problems with them. We RARELY ever need to add any type deodorizer to the black tank either, and don't own any type of tank flushing or washing equipment. Just Calgon and water in an empty black tank BEFORE you leave home, or if you can, after you dump the tank. You should stay trouble free. We also use Wal mart Angel Soft 2 ply (septic safe on package), no need for the pricey one ply RV stuff. Randy
