How to get screen off bathroom fan?

We purchased our MicroLite 23LB in January and have it in inside storage until Spring. We went yesterday to clean things up inside and noticed that the screen on the bathroom fan is very dirty but we couldn't figure out how to get it off to clean it. Also, the light cover in the stove hood had a hole melted in it from the light bulb resting against it. When we replaced the bulb, it looks like it is bent downward so I'm thinking even if we changed the light cover, the bulb might still be touching the new cover and burn a hole in it like the old one did. Has anyone had that kind of a problem? Where would we get a new light cover?

The screen should just snap in and out. It should have small tabs that hold it in.

Try using a LED light as they dont create heat.

You have to remove the entire inside framework, i.e. the 4 screws. All of our vents are a PITA to clean. The one in the bathroom is the worse with the fan.
We've cleaned it by turning it on high and taking an old toothbrush and brushing the screen.

Mine doesn't. Fan is as large as the entire vent.

The screen on our factory bathroom fan is in a round frame with tabs on it that hold it in place. We rotate that frame either to the left or right (can't remember which) and it then drops down and completely off for easy cleaning. It's a bayonet type mount. Yours may be different, but maybe not.

Our screen in our Roo just snaps out. It's round and about the same size as the fan. I am assuming yours is the same. It's difficult to pull on but it will just snap right out. There are about 5-6 tabs holding it in place. I keep thinking I'm going to break the screen when I'm pulling on it, but haven't "yet". Oh, and keep your mouth closed when looking up and pulling on the screen, dust and small bug particles don't taste too good
