The first post says: Excerpt copied into new thread by site team. I was wondering where they got it?

No worries. Common misconception on camping forums that all posters are male. In reality, we have 2 site team members and 1 admin that are female.

Tarvidson,,,,,that's because I posted my query on somebody else's thread that had nothing to do with my question. I just rudely bullied my way into the thread with my own ajenda. Ally,,,,one of the monitor's saw it and straightened out my confusion. I guess it'd be pandemonium on this site without those folks.

Grampa Jim, I'm glad you bullied your way on, it made for a rather amusing as well as educational exchange and you are no doubt correct about the monitors.

Thanks, Tarvidson......I appreciate your appreciation. BTW.....I'm into reading C.J. Box lately. He writes novels about a Wyoming game warden, Joe Pickett, and his experiences. Since you're from that area, if you like to read, pick up one of his books and see if you like him. I'm on book number 12 now, and I can't put him down.

I might have to look at Mr Box's books, My Uncle was an outfitter and I used to work in the Bob Marshall Wilderness 40 years ago and spent a fair amount of time with the game wardens. They usually liked to drink coffee in the morning and play cards at night and tell stories the whole time. A colorful group of great guys. Here is a link to an interesting video about one of my former neighbors Lou Kis who was a Warden for 40 years or so. He was one tough guy but he was running on this day.
