How to winterize water pump

New to camper camping, would like to do my own winterizing. However, none of the information I have read clearly (at least to me) explains how to winterize the water pump if I drain the lines and blow them clear with air. I prefer to not use antifreeze in the regular water lines.

1) If I blow the lines out with air, do I still have to pump antifreeze into the pump?

2) What if I wrap a heat tape around the pump?

3) Any other suggestions welcome.

I drain the fresh tank, run the pump to clear sediment filter and pump of water, remove the water filter from the housing putting the housing back on then blow out the system 3 times till no mist is present at ant faucet. That is a'll places water comes out of get blown out 3 times. Then pour AF in all the traps and gray and black thanks plus bowl. Do it several times a winter because we camp during the winter in different times/places. Doing it this way for 6 years now.

There are a few posts every spring regarding cracked water pumps, valves and the like.

I personally would drain the hotwater tank, turn the bypass valves to prevent antifreeze being drawn into the hotwater tank, connect a hose to the inlet side of the pump (if no winterizing kit is installed) and draw antifreeze from the jug through the pump making sure to open every faucet, tap, hot and cold, flush the toilet not to forget the outside shower until it runs pink and then if you want blow the waterlines out with air (no more than 30psi pressure) or just leave everything till spring and flush with water.
Don't forget to open the drain valve under the freshwater tank and the low point drains under the trailer.
I'm sure you can find useful tutorials on YouTube.
