How wide is my 831bhss with slides extended?

My trailer is in the shop for repairs so I cannot physically measure the overall width with the slides extended. I need to build a shed/cover for storing it when not in use. Does anyone know the total extended width?

I "think" 11' or 12' how close do you need?
It's an 8' camper slides in.
I used to have an 832bhss and I thought the slide was 3' or less

Should be 8' plus slightly less than 3' for the slides. 11' or 14' if you have slides on both sides.

I know of three friends who built sheds and all made them too small to extend the slides and walk around the unit when it is stored in order to do maintenance. My best advice is to double the width of the camper without the slides extended i.e. 8 ft. x 2 = 16 ft. as the minimum width.

And if you are going to maintain the trailer under your shelter, make the roof high enough to at least crawl around on top of the camper.

Listen to the man and consider one other permutation. When I had my trailer shed built, I allowed extra room side-to-side and plenty of length. I built it tall enough to crawl around on top of the TT I owned when I had the shed built. Later, when I upgraded to a 5th wheel, I had to have the roof "tallerized" (at significant expense) since the 5th wheel is so much taller. I had planned ahead for the electrical needs of a 50amp trailer but not for its height.

One thing to consider also is future upgrades. Spend a little more now to build one that will accommodate a larger trailer to prevent having a new trailer that will not fit in your shed later. We are currently looking for a shed for our new trailer, but plan to upgrade to a 5er in a few years, so I'm building big enough for the 5er now.
