I swear I was listening to the Weather Channel a while back and heard the presenter say "unfortunately the system will be experiencing unfavorable conditions for development". Freudian slip if I ever heard one.

I could move the camper but with all the rain that is expected there is no way I’ll be able to get the camper home. In case the power is out for awhile. It would be great if I could live in the camper. If I stay should I hook the truck to the camper. Right now the weather service is calling for winds of 150mph coming ashore, I live seventy miles from the ocean

From the Weather Channel report this morning even several miles inland could have massive storm surge. This would take truck and trailer away.

It’s so hard to see what tomorrow holds, but I got scared. In hindsight I should not have moved the camper. Oh well maybe the electric will not be off long when it goes out. Oh well maybe I’ll get to spend a few days in Pigeon Forge. Now that’s a silver lining

Should be okay at Pigeon Forge. Only tropical depression effects forecast for Sunday.

I think it was the correct decision. I have lived in the Carolinas for over 45 years and have been in several major hurricanes, even if nothing happens at home you are still ahead of the curve. If you hadn't moved it and something happened you would be unhappy with yourself.

Hope you stay bored. Much better than having to be rescued from your roof.
Stay safe.
