hydraulic motor cutting out

We have a 2010 356RL with three slides which work with the push of one button. They go out as one would expect, but regardless of the situation, they stop three times on the way in. It appears to be some type of thermal overload tripping the motor out. Of coarse the dealer says it is weak battery. It has been replaced once, but the problem still exists. I monitored the volatage at the terminals to the motor as the slides when in and out noting no significant difference between the two. The fluid levels appear to be goood. Any thoughts?

this is not my area of expetise but just throwing this out there -
Since you say you use it on battery and it stops on close - how about this

if you open and close on shore power - any diffrence?
if you open and close while engine is running - any diffrence?
if you open and close while generator is running - any diffrence?

Maybe the track needs some grease on it or it is binding on one of the poly blocks - if it uses poly blocks - I know my parents slide's slide on poly blocks

When the slides stop on the way in, what do you have to do before trying again? Wait until the motor cools? Rest a breaker/fuse? Wait how long?

must be a fellow sailor. I usually bring the slides in and out on shore power. But whatever the power source, there is no noticable difference.

Most hydraulic slide motors have an auto-reset circuit breaker. They will trip, but then after a minute or so, will reset, and all will be well again. You may have a defective one, or a loose/corroded connection somewhere. Need a meter, and have to do a lot of testing.
