Respectfully, "hydro" IS a common term used all across Canada (by 30+ million people) so it's not even what I'd call a regional term. There are lots of terms we use that Americans may not be familiar with but we use them every day so when a Canadian comes on here to ask a question and you don't understand the term we won't be offended if you politely ask what we mean. Things like Chesterfield (sofa), pop (soda), back-bacon or peameal bacon (Canadian bacon), washroom (bathroom) and poutine (French fries with cheese curds and gravy). We even spell words differently sometimes (colour vs. color).
To the OP, I don't have a seasonal site but it sounds like the cost of hydro at your park may be quite high per kWh. I doubt that your AC appliances will be drastically less efficient than the ones you have at home but the air conditioner may be.

Hydro costing a fortune
We have. Standard residential fridge in our trottage. The little bar fridge or beer fridge from grandmas house is not efficient at all. We found taking the little fridge out saved us about 50 bucks a season. One fridge. If we have a large crew throw the Molson Golden or Mill Street Root Beer in the cooler.

Don't let it bother you. You got one reply that was.....somewhat uncalled for to put it politely. While I've seen a few posts like that, they're fairly rare. Overall, this thread has been fairly informative.

People that make derogatory remarks usually feel inadequate to carry on a meaningful conversation. So don't feel offended, feel pity for them instead.
Carry on posting and have fun.

And here, it was just getting "fun" ... our friends from Toronto, give us grief about being "North" of them, being we are in Minnesota. Then again ... we are always vigilant on our Northern border, for the impending invasion.
I "though" that "Hydro" was a somewhat regional reference, i.e. Ontario / Niagara Falls / etc. so have learned it is more conventional than regional. Which would bear out that, be a little open minded and you can learn more here by accident, than in other places by design.
More on-topic ... the resistive element in the water heater might be a consideration, if you have access to cheaper propane, you should at least do-the-math or test-and-compare, that could be a way to nip those One-Point-Twenty-One Gigawatts .... Same comment again, for the fridge, if you have dual-power-source, at least do the math, or compare.

We had a young lady from Canada come down to help us with a camp we run for burned children. She was my partner for a week. Between her being Canadian and I from the deep south we had to educate each other so we could communicate. We had a blast. Best summer camp I ever had.
