I can laugh now

Well many know that I have my mother in law living here and also this weekend I had the pleasure of having my best friend since age 14 come in town to visit. So I told the wife Gary and I will camp in the yard and the ladies can have the house.

Gary and I loaded our snacks and adult beverages and headed to the camper in the back yard that I had set up and had ready for the night. We had a great time talking about the old days, watching the race and playing poker last night. About 1:00 am we called it a night.

Well I am kinda crazy about the smoke detector and check it EVERY night before I go to bed in the camper.

Around 4:00 am the smoke detector goes off!!!! Not sure if I hit my head on the roof of the trailer when I jumped out of the bed (I am on the dometic recall and not fixed yet) or I am suffering from the adult beverages I consumed but my head hurts.

Gary also jumped up and I had checked the situation out and found the battery was going dead on the detector and all was well.

He asked what caused that and I told him "whatever you were cooking is done ,That's the kitchen timer and breakfast should be ready".

LOL

Had to share my adventure.

Mike

LOL! Maybe that is why my detector went off last night in the camper.
It was sudden and our first thought is that the detector is defective.
But now that u mention this, we have owned the camper for a year
now and maybe the battery needs replacing.

Thanks,
Nina
