I HATE These Threads...

Tis that time of year again when the Forum starts buzzing with the anti-freeze and winterization questions. I hate it. Just checked the weather for my last formal trip of the season next weekend....low of 34. Its getting close.

Just for clarification...I don't hate the questions....I HATE the reason they need to be asked!

i don't mind them because i can completely ignore them, since we don't have to do this out here. one of the last few benefits of living in California, year-round camping with no winterizing needed.

You don't need to winterize, just earthquake-ize.

I actually do winterize......twice. We'll get a freeze or two (for a day at a time or so) around Dec. before it warms up a little. I'll make a January trip somewhere in between cold spells, then come back and do it again before the next freeze, usually around Feb. sometime.
