I have a brand new trailer that leaks, help!

I purchased a new travel trailer and my 3rd trip out I found that the sky light is leaking in the slide. I have found in the past that once they leak they always do. Does anyone have experience with forest river and how well they handle these situations. I really want a whole new trailer or a credit to pick out another trailer, but I think I may be dreaming.

You're correct, you're dreaming. Best thing is to seal all roof openings with Eternabond and you won't have to worry about roof leaks anymore.

Take it back to your dealer to have it fixed. If it's new it should be under warranty. The dealer can fix it without sending it to Forest River.

I just took my new 2014 in after the 1st weekend of camping with 2 differend leaks and to have the brakes adjusted. Called the dealer Monday morning and they said to just drop it off and they'll have it fixed by the end of the week. Dealer service is important. I know I got lucky having a reputable dealer with great customer service.

all the leak reports make me nervous. we have not had any rain here in over 2 weeks so i cant tell if anything keaks or not on my new rv. i did look at the roof and it looks like either FR or the dealer went wild with sealer to make sure there is no leaks

A kid and a hose helped me find leaks in my truck bed cover. I laid inside with my camera and she sprayed the truck bed, herself, the camper, the house, the ground, the road and I'm sure there was more while I looked for leaks.

Funny. I love that kind of engineering
