I have been away for a little while

Wow, how this forum has grown with new members since i was on last.
We have been busy, we just sold our home and now we are living in our Rock Wood in a Trail Park about 10 miles down the road from where we lived. We had to move out in 4 weeks and put everything in storage until our new house is built.

We will be living in a Trailer Park during the week and at the campground on weekends, this will continue until the end of August/September.

I am glad to see that everyone is doing well here and i see that i have a lot of reading to do so that i can get caught up on things...Happy Camping

Ya, Gary you could call it temporary full timing and right now we are not liking it, we seem to get in each others way and no place to put anything.

The builder is breaking ground to day, we were hoping the house would be done by next weekend

Thanks Charlie, how did you guess, it was Finksnburg or jump from Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart's parking lots between Finksburg and Hanover.

There's a couple Wal-Marts, the one in Hampstead is becoming a Super Center. That will save me from going to South Hanover, PA but I do like that store, it's rarely crowded.
I lived in Hillendale II years ago when Sheri and I first got married. It shouldn't be too bad of a ride to your cabin from there.
I highly recommend Smoker's across from you. Great sandwiches and Bellisimo's is really good as well.

Charlie, sorry for the late reply but access to a computer is a little hard right on the week ends.
I believe Hillendale is right across Rt 140 from where we are staying, we are in Todd Village.

We are building our house just a few miles up from the South Hanover Wal-Mart off of Grand View, this will put us closer to the cabin, about 50 miles away, as far as work it's about 60 miles to Northern VA.

Although i have lived in the Reisterstown for about 6 years and attended Franklin Jr High and then later on in live moved to Westminster and lived in the house we just sold for 30 years i have never been to Smokers, but have heard about it. Now that i have no house to take care of, no grass to cut and no pool to worry about all Summer we will have time on our hands, so i am going to try out Smokers.
