The kids will never forget these days. Print out the best pictures and start an album. You won't believe how often than album will be looked at. Every Christmas we give each of our grandkids a little album of the previous years camping adventures.

Camped as a kid every year at Myrtle Beach in a tent. We thought we were something when mom and dad got first pop up. Now I have a Coachmen 5vr and take my parents in their late 70's with us as often as we can. DW and I give up the master to them when they go. They provided me with so many memories I want to make sure we return the favor.

PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES love them, that tells the story.
Looks like a great beginning of a life long joy,
Can't wait till next weekend, all the while raising our 3 kids we were able to go camping quite a bit, we would take our family and extended family to a special "free" little campground in the Sequoias on Labor day weekend.
And now the kids have kids, 5 grand daughters with one more GD on the way and our daughter is pregnant also not sure if its a boy or girl yet. (don't matter).
So this Labor day weekend we are renting a cabin for all of us in the same area because my kids what to take Pictures of their kids on the same tree stumps and rocks that their pictures were taken on oh so many years back.

Again can't wait.

Thank you all for responding. Nice to hear of so many others memories as well. Definitely the best purchase we have made as a family. Also has my wife thinking about our retirement a lot more and what we really want out of it and how to better finance it so we can feel that freedom.

Back to the saugeen river in sw Ontario for labour day weekend. We were there a few weeks ago. Very nice park. River for tubing/kayak. Fishing ponds. Petting zoo. Then we have to stay close to home as the boy has hockey saturday mornings that I have to run him back for. A few pics from saugeen springs. Click image for larger version

It only gets better. We started in the Yukon with a truck camper before we had kids. Eventually graduated to a 17' travel trailer, then a 22' and now in retirement a 28' because we spend a LOT of nights per year out there. Planning 3 months in 2018 to tge east coast, NL and New England states. Enjoy!

Well we got back Monday from our long weekend. Temps were ok and not too much rain. Took the father in law for his birthday. A day trip to Amish country and to a local car race track Saturday night. Very nice getaway. Also hit the go karts on the way home. A nice wrap to summer. Click image for larger version
