Thank You

Thank you, all, for your support and forgiveness.

However, I would like to emphasize that part of the reason for my posting this was to bring awareness to how much trouble causing trouble on this forum is for the Site Team — as well as for everybody else.

The Site Team doesn’t just give a warning with no thought or discussion amongst themselves. No; they all get together, having to spend time that they all could be using doing much more important things with their families, friends, etc., to discuss and evaluate the infraction so they can properly handle it. What I did really wasted their time.

Every Member here suffers when a thread is closed or deleted. What I did was very disrespectful to the original poster, others who had posted in the thread, and to everybody here who was deprived of participating in that thread.

By receiving this warning, I was made aware of how many people it affected, and I have a greater appreciation of why this forum has the rules and guidelines it does.

Bruce

Bruce,
Your words were very well chosen. I guess the apology was a condition for you to remain a participant. Did the site team give you guidance as what to say?

I did not see the thread in which you lost your cool so can't imagine how bad it was.

Good luck in the future.

Mike

My words were very well chosen; as they should be. I don’t think something such as this should be written without thought and sincerity.

You are absolutely wrong about the Site Team. I think the Site Team is above requiring somebody to post what I did. They were very polite in explaining to me what I did wrong and how it will not be tolerated in the future. That’s about it. They didn’t even hint that I should do such a thing. This should answer your second question about the Site Team.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Bruce

I am very glad that those were all your words, Bruce....and that the site team left it up to you. I agree, it was very sincere.

Thanks for the clarification, as I'm sure others may have wondered as well.

Mike

Bruce. It’s so rare any more to hear a man stand up and say he made a mistake and then apologise. Thank You for being an example for the rest of us.

Bruce, Thank You for bringing this out. I too did not see the thread but we are all guilty of saying things on a forum that we normally would not face to face.

It is easy to misunderstand an intended comment either way.

I have been on both sides of this issue and we all need to think about what we are saying before we say (or type) it.

Right or wrong we all have opinions and all should realize none of us is right all the time and may even be wrong in our thinking.

Thanks again I think that we all need to read this thread.

nomad297, We all have good days and bad days. Then we have a day or two where we should just stay away from the forums. I've even been reprimanded for something I said about myself, no disrespect intended or fowl language involved, just the way I said it.

spock, you know your DW is right, just ask her. lol

All of us are opinionated some more than others. And some times that gets in the way . Just like some like Fords some like Chev’s and some other brands. Sometimes we get a little overboard about our choice. But in the end I think most of us can take what is said with a grain of salt and go on. Thank the adm’s for doing their job . Love this forum keep up the good work.

I'm new to this site, but a member on several others.
In this day and age, it's really nice and refreshing to see both parties step up and take responsibility for their actions. well done and thank you!

It takes a big man to say "I'm Sorry".

No problems Bruce...thanks for the apology.

It does take a big "Man" to admit an error. Congrats on that.

I have been "corrected" by a member when I actually knew what I was talking about. I tried a couple times to "prove" what I said and gave up. There are people who quickly take offense... not me I just moved on. If another member knew the correct assessment and didn't voice it...then we both won. Camp on!
