That's where our trailer came from, we bought from Pontiac RV. they went over and picked it up from EZ Living. IIRC Pontiac RV owns EZ Living RV! I thought the tornadoes were way farther south than that!

On the original question, usually situations like this will depend on the insurance company (if applicable). The insurers will try to recoup some money by selling the trailer/parts/pieces. They may sell them back to the insured or to somebody else. It's going to be the insurance companys call.

IMHO, I would think that just the cost of trying to transport what's left of some of these trailers, would make them want to strike some kind of deal with the dealership........but the dealership may not even want any of it, and just get their place cleaned up, ready for business again.

There could be a demand for RV's in that area right now, as many people lost their homes.

As I look at all the devastation from these tornado's in the news, I'm just glad no more people got hurt than did.

Take a note of which trailers are still standing. A purchase criteria that you usually do not think of or get the chance to consider.

After going through the Good Friday Tornado in St. Louis with family, nothing is more scary to me than these types of storms. I have a totally different understanding and appreciation for their power. This is proof that no mater what time of year your head needs to be on a swivel and you should ensure you understand what the day might bring. Nothing and I mean NOTHING sends chills up my spine more that thinking about what it would be like to ride out a storm in a matchstick shower house in a state park with my family.

Its surprising that not more people were injured or killed with these storms last week.

Not a good sight. That pic just reminded me of something that totally slipped my mind about this. I was so preoccupied thinking about the new RV's damaged, I didn't even consider the RV's that were there for service work and didn't belong to the dealership.

So the owners of those RV's are also now entangled in all this too. What a bummer.

It's wild how one part can get hit so hard and then nothing just across the road. Notice all the RV's at the storage buildings across the road, and how it doesn't appear they got damaged.

We live in Huntsville, AL (Tornado Ally) and indeed Mother Nature can really wreck havoc!

We had a Force 5 roll through 'Bama a couple of years ago and the devastation was amazing! And...odd...there was one house completely leveled - I mean flattened - EXCEPT for a occasional table with a fragile blue vase on it with a bunch of roses - completely untouched! Go figure!!
