Important Item to Carry in Your RV

No excuse not to carry one of these for when you stop on the side of the road for repairs or something. Only abut $5. I carry two - one for me and one for the DW.

Good idea on the face shield. Another tip for all your vehicles: I carry a couple of Tyvek coveralls. They cost about $7 each and can be slipped over your clothes in case you need to lay on the ground.

I do as well and they also deflect splashes of battery water. Get the extra large (or larger) so you can just step into them with your clothes and coat on.

All good ideas that a lot of us might not think of until we need it and don't have it. Thanks

Carry that for sewer dumping as well.. I saw this movie one time...

Anyways! I digress. Safety vest is a great idea, I also keep a few flares / triangles in case I am not in the best spot.

I just carry two cell phones and three different credit cards, along with our insurance card. If we have to stop on the road way to get something fix this is my simple solution.
There is no way I am going to fix a flat or some other issue on the roadway with traffic zipping by at 70+ mph.

I attended a traffic safety talk by a highway patrolman. His advice is to never stop on the freeway unless your vehicle stops running. Keep going on a flat tire, for instance, until you can get safely off the road. A person's life is worth far more than what a tire is worth.

Of course the safety vests are a good idea if you don't have a choice and have to stop, as well flares and warning triangles.

Based on the title I figured you were going to remind me not to forget my wife!

I carry an emergency kit that is readily accessible that has vest, flares and triangles in it. I may not need it, but it might come in handy to help someone else out too.

I carry road flares but I use them to start campfires when I have green wood.
