This is a model we've been interested in for some time.
Every 2618 owner I've asked, has loved theirs.
The Flagstaff line has a twin version of the Rockwood.

We own a 2015 2618vs and love it. Front kitchen works great for us, good storage spaces, comfortable bed...did add a foam mattress topper to extend the length a bit (6'-3") doesn't interfere with slide, changed out the kitchen vent to a multi-speed power vent (smoke detector doesn't come on while cooking anymore),added maxi vent covers, added a sliding shelf to the cabinet between refer and couch, plus a few comfort add-ons. We plan to add slide toppers this spring...should have added them when we purchased the WJ.
Enjoy your new WJ

Picked our 2618VS up last Monday. Haven't had a chance to take it out yet but am looking forward to it.
As far as the floorplan, when we decided on the Rockwood, we looked at several plans and the 2618VS was our favorite. We also looked at the 2604WS, 2607A and others.

We did our "shake down trip" by spending a few days camping in the driveway making sure we were comfortable with running all the components inside and out.Plus it gave us time to locate all the items one doesn't think about early on...low point drains, shutoff valves, hooking up the bk/gr water sewer hoses, buy extra fuses, deciding on what tools we needed to bring when traveling, etc. One thing we decided to do was adding an outside 30amp entrance so the WJ could be fully functional when parked at home.
Enjoy

2618 vs
We picked ours up last August, a 2016 model. Got a decent price and it came with the extras we wanted. For my DW and I it is the perfect size. It has plenty of inside storage but I would prefer a bit more outside storage. The front storage space does not offer a lot of options because it is so narrow, you cant get much in there. Although it is good for longer items like tiki torches or fishing poles. We store our leveling blocks and charcoal in there. The rear storage area is easily accessible but still not very large and the entry door is a bit tight. Just my personal opinion, it may be fine for others. I store everything in plastic bins so they tend to take up more room.
The quality of the camper is exceptional. We have not had to take it back for any fixes yet.
Suffice to say we love it! If you do buy a 2618 VS you will not be making a dad decision based on my experience.

Looks great. Sliding shelf and toppers are good mods.
