Interested in thoughts on 321BHT

Looking to buy a 321BHT 2006. Unit is at auction so we'll be gambling a little bit. I've inspected the unit and everything seems in order. I'd love to hear some thought good or otherwise about this unit. Also for any 321/351 owners out there how does it pull/what do you pull it with.

I have a 2008 351 and I towed it home from the dealer about 120 miles one way with a 30 mph crosswind, using a heavy duty 1/2 ton truck with an equalizer hitch and the top speed I could go before it really started to sway was 55 mph. A few times I could actually feel the rear truck tires flexing. When I pulled it up to our seasonal site about 180 miles one way using the same truck with a 10mph tail wind I averaged about 62 mph with no problem. I do not think I would consider pulling something that big every weekend somewhere. Good luck and enjoy whatever you end up with.

i'm going to use a 3/4 ton HD Duramax. Really anxious to hear some other thoughts re: pulling a rig this heavy. I will of course get appropriate hitches etc.

thx

I pull a flagstaff 29' with a 2500 chev HD Duramax, and have no problems. I tow at 65 mph and have an equalizer hitch, have the Duramax for pulling the the mountain.

We have a 2007 Sierra 321BHT, love the layout and space. Don't tow it though, it is parked as a seasonal.

I don't know what the weight is for the 321BHT, but I pull a cherokee 30f model, 34' long and over 10,000lbs loaded, with an 03 Silverado 2500HD diesel, and it pulls really well. I use a 14,000 Equal-i-zer hitch, and I also replaced the factory receiver with a good class V. I would not trust the factory receiver with this much weight.
