Interior steps - Anti-trip tips anyone?

We have a rear bedroom in our Sunseeker that requires a step up. No problem on the way in! It's remembering its's there when you wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, which is a step down. A nightlight seemed to have helped somewhat, although it would be nice if we could place it closer to the actual step. No outlet in that area near the floor. Anyone conquered a similar issue?

Thanks, the ones from Sharper Image seem to have good reviews, think I'll try them. Motion light is probably better than having to turn the light on.

That is exactly the reason DW wanted a bedroom with a flat floor, no step or step downs.

Make a removable ramp you slide in place at night.

Unfortunately we didn't pay enough attention to the step, we liked so many other things. Now need to deal with it, without falling. The ramp might work, couldn't have a bathroom door though.

That's why I suggested it be removable. Heck, hinge it so it flips to the side or back on the step.

We also have a Sunseeker 3050 with a rear bedroom. I leave the fan light on (Under the microwave).

This might work. Look for these on Amazon. No outlet needed, and has good reviews.
