Is cutting board the sink cover
I have a 2016 minilite 2503S. My question: Is the cutting board a separate item or is it the sink cover also?

Most of the time it is based on if you want "Cut mark's" on your sink covers! Your choice! Youroo!!

IMO I would buy a cutting board. several styles that adjust to fit sinks.

I am guessing the bottom of the sink covers - not sure I would use them that way but I think that is how they were marketed to us.

They are marketed as cutting board/sink covers. But they are pretty flimsy and will get chopped up quickly. We carry separate cutting boards and never use the sink covers for that purpose.

since we have the same trailer(actually your twin, Micro Lite 25KS), you may find the link below interesting, .... Its an idea w/photos that I posted several months ago about cutting boards and the sink area, ....... I did forget to add in that post, that if making one, be sure to use stainless screws,....... she/we love the added space it gives,......... happy trailering .............

We use these from Pampered Chef. They're thin, flexible, very light. Work awesome for TT.

During walk through the guy said that a lot of people use the sink cover as a cutting board. I packed along cutting boards and DH used the sink cover. It left knife marks. He decided that it is better to use the cutting board. On the last trip out the sink cover warped. So one of the new mods that will be done is to replace the cover with a two piece cutting board. That way we can use the sink and prep at the same time.

DW only cooks with elect., so we don't use propane at all and was able to remove the two 30# tanks to get rid of that weight,....... I covered that whole corner counter top area to make her a large working/cooking area, the red&white cover was the only "kitchen" look that we could find, ....I enlarged the table top also and covered it to match, we like the "country kitchen table" look,.... the photo is a little out dated, she has more "stuff" there now, ......
No, we don't remove any of the "stuff" for travel, there or off the table,.... we clip an edge fence around both the cooking area and the table top when traveling and actually use both as a place to put things when we're getting ready to travel, ..... works great, nothing can fall off of either one.......

Looks good. Not sure we're ready for dumping the propane, but thanks for the info.

oh yes, those three would be VERY hard for us to use,...... BUT, we do find that ELECT heaters, the ELECT refer, and the ELECT w/h, are very EASY for us to use!.....
and without the tanks, that front area is a perfect place to carry our bikes,....... that makes for a win-win......
sorry, campbuzz98, I didn't intend to take your thread in this direction....please forgive.......
