Going to load up the camper on the 23rd getting it ready for our trip to So Texas for Thanksgiving. We will spend about 10 days there depending on weather. Will de-winterize before leaving weather permitting, like to use our own potty when on the road.

Use my fiver as much during the winter as summer. It's my hunting lodge during hunting season here in west Texas. Tough keeping it thawed out sometimes but you do what you got to do.

Done? Just came back from four great days at Salt Springs (Ocala Fl). Lows in the upper 40's at night, days were all sun shine and mid 70's. Wish I could have stayed a few more days!

Just did 4 night at Oak Hollow lake in High Point NC, just 45 mins from our house, I went to work from there and then 2 days at Falls Lake near Raleigh NC. Hit lows of 28 degrees. That's it for the season. (at least 2014) Just finished winterizing a few minutes ago. We are off to Ft. Wilderness end of Feb.

It is nice to be retired! We are starting our planning for a trip the day after Christmas...the 26th. We have Thanksgiving, then Christmas with our 4 8 and under grandkids here in Chicago...then we pull out for 5 months in Arizona. This early cold and light snow have us concerned but we are thinking positively.

Hopefully we can go west through Iowa then down through Kansas, West Texas and warm weather to Tucson for New Years, then up to the grandkids in Scottsdale for 4 months. We have our fingers crossed and RV trailer ready. Wish us luck!

looks like I'm going to be testing the insulation. First couple of days will be in the 20's with one day having a high of 38. I'll pack a few jugs of water just in case but supposedly it's four season capable. We'll find out in two short days.
