I just retired a month ago. We go where the weather suits our clothes and DW prefers shorts. 😊

My next trip is scheduled for the last week in December to Myrtle Beach. Lines are blown out and TT is covered until then. Usually winterize several times during the winter when the opportunity to go somewhere comes up.

Last year we stayed (too long) near Rockford, ILL. (17deg) overnight low. Taking off to Scott Airforce Base Wedensday. Nice weekender place or for a week or so.

We had to winterize our trailer a bit early this year since weíre leaving in 6 days for our Panama Canal adventure and wonít be back until mid-November. We donít want to run the risk of St. Louis experiencing freezing temps while weíre out of the country.

We, often, get spurts of warmer weather here in the Rockies and we've talked about getting the TT out and going down to southern Texas or New Mexico or Arizona for a fun winter trip! (4-5 days)

Hopefully I can find the time off of work!!

Midatlantic camper here- we have 2 weekend trips planned and then I'll blow out the lines. After this, we have a warm weather (1,200 mile) trip planned to Key West for 2-ish weeks. I'll put pink stuff in after that trip and button her up until March or April.

Wow ependydad probably feels like ages ago you booked that key west trip. Can't wait to hear about it.

Thanks for sharing. I have heard about this campground but I keep forgetting about it. $45 with full hookups is not bad compared to CA state parks with hookups. My sister is an avid Bingo player and wants me to go with her. I said I would compromise - she can play Bingo and I can camp.

We are just cranking up the camping since it isn't 100 deg out anymore and if it snows here its gone by noon the next day. If a bad cold front comes by like 20 deg. its gone in a week so we winterize and dewinterize on and off during the winter here.

Yeah, we can't wait. Having 70+ nights of camping helped tide the time over. We're now trying to finagle a evening to WDW/Magic Kingdom in on the drive down since the kids have done really well with travel. We aren't sure if it'll work out, though.

Here's out site in Key West.
