Is everyone done for the season?

Sadly we put our camper away for the season today. I was just wondering is anyone still hanging in there and trying to get a few more trips in before the glaciers roll in or are you also done for the season. The only good thing I can say about this is that we are very fortunate to have indoor storage.

Now comes the long wait for spring.

I am done for the season since Thanksgiving long weekend.
I am also lucky enough to be able to store it inside the machinery shed.

We are done only because we are sending it to the factory for repairs. Normally our season is March thru November.

Nope. Just picked up the new Sunseeker a week ago Tuesday, camped last weekend, and heading out to Frankenmuth Jellystone for Thanksgiving!

We are out in Frankenmuth MI till Monday. This weekend the park is about 80 percent full. Lots of rigs here. We are not winterizing quite yet. See what happens and may be out in November.

We still have two trips in November planned, The last will be Thanksgiving week since I can't convince everyone to go camping Christmas week.

We're heading to Charleston, SC on Nov. 11; back home three days before Thanksgiving. We may or may not be done for the year. Will probably winterize, but, ya' know, it is pretty easy to de-winterize if the right opportunity comes up.

You all make me feel so fortunate. Living in Mississippi we are blessed to be able to camp year round. There are times when we are home that we winterize, but it's quickly undone when we're ready to go.

I'm on the west coast where we can camp all year round. I don't care for camping much during the hotter months (July-Oct) so my camping actually will start up in November. I guess I have a flip-flop camping season in comparison.

Nope, we have at least 3 more trips planed this year, and 3 for early next year. The advantage of living in the southern states.

We are out camping this weekend and will probably be out for the next couple weekends before we drop ours off at the dealer to get our warranty work done.

You know Mike we will do the same and might go camping between Christmas and New Years if the temp is around 0 C or 32 F. We would go to a provincial park for some time away if the snow isn't too deep!!

Here in Atlanta, we go north in the summer, camp locally in the spring & fall, and go south in the winter. We only winterize on short notice, since winters are usually mild here. But I'm really impressed with our northern brethren who aren't deterred by cold and snow. Hat's off to ya!

We are done for the season. It will be dipping into the 30's at night in a week or so.
