Funny I thought the same thing but when we traveled out west this year we saw plenty of them, guess it's a regional thing.

Just got back from our first weekend trip. The antenna did pick up 4 channels, and we couldn't get the cable to work.

And we have Sinclair stations all around OK. I found a website, puregas.com, that shows stations in your area that have non ethanol gas. It also has a link that pulls up the Google street view of each gas station. It let me get an idea of how crowded they would be and if I would be able to get in and out.

Gas stations and ownership baffle me! In the South, I haven't seen a Gulf station in 40 years. Yet, there they are on the NY Mets outfield billboard advertising! Esso morphed into Exxon 50 years ago, but Esso is still all over Canada. Standard Oil became Mobil long ago, but Standard Oil still exists in places.

New guys Valero, Alon, pop up here and there.

And not one of these supposedly independent stations in the entire USA can see fit to remove the 9/10 of a cent off of their prices! Absolutely amazing. It would seem to be technically illegal, and for sure illogical, to advertise a price that's impossible o deliver on. If gas sells for $1.99.9 and you go in and say "I'll take one gallon please", they can NOT sell it to you at the advertised price. They have to round up.

OK, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Gas stations today remind me of the 60s,,, no one knew who was in bed with who !!!
To make a long story short,,, a few weeks ago I stopped to talk to a Fuel Truck driver @ a Speedway in IN,,, I ask the driver if he knew he was warring a Marathon shirt ? He said Yes,,, it matched the Tractor,,, but not the Tanker !!!
Sorry I think I helped to High Jack this Thread !!!
