is there a "blue book" for camper values?

I'm thinking of selling my Rockwood 2013 2304S and purchasing a used Flagstaff ultra lite 5th wheel. Is there a website where I can get an idea of what my unit is worth?

excelent site. now i know where the dealership got the $14,500 figure for our 2012 trailer when he insulted me.
I actually just sold it at an RV consignment place a buddy of mine owns and it went for $21,800.

in turn i just purchased a used 2008 5th wheel for $15,000 private sale that the dealer lists on NADA for $28,000.



if you know what you have and dont want to wait for that perfect buyer at the reasonable price - trade it so they can make teh thousands of dollars profit.

NADA is next to worthless anymore. My wife's work (auto finance co.) don't even go by them for vehicle value.

For instance. My 21SSL cost (new) $18,700 and it is in immaculate condition and show an average value of $29,530. Would someone offer me that for it, the title would hit them in the head so fast their eyes would spin.

But then NADA lists my Excursion (in stock form, but with same engine, options and mileage) as only worth $7,650. I'd buy 4 of them if I could find them at that price.

There is no sense to their value structure. KBB is nearly as bad. Check classified and Craigslist in your area for what comparable units are going for. That's its true worth.

The dealer I was at last year pulled out some big book and showed me some different book values they and the finance companies base values on. I'm sorry I don't know what it was called, in Canada. If you maybe ask a dealer or salesman maybe they could help you out.

I have had dealers reference a "black book" value. Supposedly this is based on regional auction sales and is much more in line with what a dealer would be willing to give you on a trade in.
