Well I am sitting here at Doheny State Beach in California. Temps have been in 80, but got cooler this week. It's 4am and the waves are crashing. Life is good... Nice way to spend a week vacation.

Easter Weekend

Our first trip this year will be to The Lake of the Ozarks for Easter weekend. Missouri weather is too unpredictable earlier in the year.

We figured if we stay 35 nights we break even compared staying in a motel. We camped 35 nights last year and really I wouldn't have stayed that many nights in s motel. So we not only broke even, we went WAY ahead! It's all in how you look at it!

Trying to plan 50 nights this year! And really, planning and dreaming is half the fun! And planning can happen in 3 feet of snow without any problems. Happy Trails everyone. Here's to a great year camping!

We dewinterized the TT earlier this week for a few days of camping in Williamsburg. 50 degree days and 30-ish nights. Well worth it. About to rewinterize and put back in storage for a few more weeks. Heading to Topsail Hill and Savannah mid-May.

Maybe not better but just as good. During the winter I enjoy the other things that are just as good like...

Sitting on a Caribbean beach with an adult beverage in hand at an all-inclusive resort.
