Thanks PenJoe for the heads-up but I don't have to worry about that. The drive is a right-of-way that is part of my land, not an easement. It is shown on the property survey that was done a week prior to closing. It was shown on the original survey as well when it to was parceled up to grand kids after a family death.

That was a concern of the prior owner as well so he was sure to have it shown and included in the property when he bought it. If it had not been part of the property... I would not have bought it. I have heard too many horror stories of easement issues. I don't need any part of that.

Looking forward to Easter weekend for first trip this year. Ordered 4 new tires for 5th wheel today. Get it out of winter storage this weekend to bring home and start prepping it.

I'm burning with the fever to start my camping outings. I understand some like the all inclusive Carribean Resorts. And so do we. But something about the great outdoors and beauty of Mother Nature. It is such a stress reliever, and most families thoroughly enjoy the adventure. I'm happy just chilling with our music, campfire, some drinks and being with my honey. And our friends always love the experience. True that you get pampered at a resort, and camping does require some work and effort. But...... It's worth the payback of a wonderful experience. I will always choose camping over a resort. A although We do like both. The choices and pricing can't

I like the fact that I am not on someone else's schedule when camping, unlike a cruise. Not happy with the neighbors or the weather is acting up, one can just pick up and leave and find a better spot.

For our snowbird adventure I prefer camping at a resort in FL. Not much differences in prices......

Great post and picture comparison by Dutchman! I prefer the bottom photo. I find it hard to sit and do nothing all day which is usually the s.o.p. visiting a Caribbean resort. I like puttering around the campsite and the camper and pure enjoyment of cooking outdoors, starting with maple bacon and breakfast to dinner by a campfire. Walks, hikes, runs (3-5miles) bicycling and kayaking round out the days options.

Personally, I like going into the forest where there is nothing. If you want it, you have to bring it. Where we've gone up to Michigan for 35 years or so, dry camping, they came in and clear cut the forest. They rutted the road going in so bad we can't get back there now. The roads are supposed to be fixed up before they leave. Looking forward to our semi annual trip out to Alberta from June until Sept. We meet two of our kids who live out there and dry camp for as long as they can stay in the Rockies with us. Last time out it was 3 weeks straight, dry camping. We do go to private campgrounds also but prefer dry camping with our kids and our grandchildren. Nothing like the smell of camp fire smoke drifting around the campsite, the company of friends and relatives, the peace and quiet, a couple...maybe more...drinks...cutting the 50 ft standing dead Ponderosa pines and then splitting...the young ones do that while I pretend I'm supervising. We've been very lucky to be able to do this for all these years and our kids have followed suit and they all have their own rigs. The grandchildren like having over nighters in out 5er, why I don't know but they do. Can't complain as they could not like Nana & Papa. Stay safe all.

So looking forward to our 8,500 mile, 8 week roadtrip (yes I know we're crazy) in just under 8 weeks.
Might be the only big road-trip we do with both "kids" with us (in college and high school), so gonna make the most of it.
Still got lets of prep'ing to do, and worried if I've got enough time to get it all done, but am impatient at the same time.
Will be our first trip since Jan (just been too busy for any other trips), tho' will plan another shorter trip, or 3, for later in the year
