March 1 is when we start, just a shake down cruise, 3 weeks. Going to Ft Fisher, a military campground for one week and then hopefully Hunter Army Airfield, I think that's right for three days and then Orange Grove campground for a week. Then back home to NC. DW retires, it's been a long time, it can't come fast enough

All you people that live in warm climate areas suck-just kidding. I'm jealous. Here in northern MN were 2-3 months out yet. Campgrounds up here don't open until at least early May.

We're headed to Taos in a few weeks to go skiing. There's a park we've stayed in few times in Town. Can't wait.

I leaving Minnesota a week from today and heading SOUTH! Will have my Trike in the Toyhauler and riding come the 26th!

Heading to Tyler State Park in TX for a few nights. Then on to Lake Charles, LA for 11 days. I will then head back north and spend 5 nights in Norman, OK to see my Son, DIL and grandkids. I'll be gone for one day shy of 3 weeks!

Heading to the Sherwood Forest Faire starting tomorrow thru Monday. May be the last time I tent camp.

Then, heading to Middlebury, IN. to pick up my new TT. Hope to get some good weather reports for our trip.

I will post some pictures of some of my fellow Faire mates when I get back. Worth a peek if you have not seen the ones I have posted already.

Happy camping!!!

Some of you are fortunate. I am resigned to looking at long range forecasts...

Been at the lake in Texas for a week so far. Temps in the 80's today and high 70's on Saturday. Is it really just February? Sorry to my brothers and sisters in the north. SPRING and SUMMER'S COMING!!!!!!

Agreed..... Which got me thinking.. The investment that we make ( cold climate people ) on rv's.. Do not do the math, at what your camper actually costs you per night... You will be sad.

If we can get out 50 nights a year, thats a good year !!
Its really expensive if you look at it that way. So, i dont..

Just keep smiling !

We're having our planning meeting at church to set up our camping outings from May to October. In Michigan, we're stuck with waiting until May - it's just too unpredictable here! Congrats to all that have trips planned already or are ready to start one. You have most of the forum ready to stow away

I think camping is the best cure for stress relief and anything else.

We have now been down on the Baja since early November and will start driving back to British Columbia early March.

Life is good

Two weeks and we get a week on Ft Myers Beach at the Red Coconut for spring break. After that my work schedule ramps up and there won't be any camping for us until November. Grrrrr.
