Its just cold :(

Here in Western Ky it is 12 degrees at 8:50am. I am waiting on the truck to warm up just to go to a meeting at work - on my day off no less. The sun is even shining but doing no good.

What the heck happened to Global Warming? Its been two weeks now of around single digit lows most nights. Had two days where it warmed enough for freezing rain. That was wonderful in that there were no major power outages or snapped trees.

I will be so glad when February is done. If we get a high over 40 I'll be opening the pool.

3F degrees here is St. Louis this AM. Two weeks ago I was wearing Shorts due to an un expected 70 degree day. Part of the Midwest I guess.

Currently 27 with low of 25 tonight. Here in DFW we got hit with a wintery mix of sleet and light snow that turned into ice overnight.

Lots of flight into/out of DFW and Love Field canx.

Oh when it's 110 degrees outside there this summer, we'll be kicking our feet up at our favorite campground up here in New England watching the sweat drip off our favorite beverage.

Recorded snow on the ground in 48 states = global warming. Seems that equation is out of balance. I think somebody pulled a fast one on us all.

Ironically, just a few years ago the man-made global warming folks claimed cold weather and snow would soon be just a memory in many northern climates. Now they have changed their name to "climate change " folks & they blame climate change for messing-up the jet stream which now push "polar vortices" further south. Meanwhile one thing remains the same - the 1% get tons of money from the tax payer & industry. Business as usual.

Your all lucky we set the all time low for 2 days this month and both of those days we were the coldest in the nation and made the national news. Tonight it just 7pm and we are already below zero and they are talking a -30 with the wind chill. IT's JUST GETTING RIDICULOUS !!!

I rather not be a winner in this contest - now they're predicting 3" of snow Wednesday in DFW.
