Jackknife!

Watched this guy pull into a narrow Fast food parking lot and attempt to turn around...he made it out but it cost him a rear bumper.

I understand that his buddies Ford was a 1979 F250 with 450,000 miles. The trailer was for beer and a barbeque for smoking a pig. All of that was for a mod they were going to do to replace the AM/FM radio with an AM/FM/DVD/Bluetooth.

That's a known, Figure On Repairs Daily, the FORDs wouldn't even start so they could get to the shop to get repaired.

Ford just started their latest campaign... free dog with every purchase (then you have someone happy to be walking home with you instead of driving home) hahahaha

Funny I do have to admit.

Just don't understand how Ford had a V8 for 15+ yrs before Chevy and yet Chevy's first V8 put Ford's to shame in every way measured.

Yup. I had 327 punched out in 68 Camaro back in high school. Built it in a shop class. It dyno'd at 430hp @ 6k. The motor had 202 Rocket Fuelly heads , big cam and lots of other mods. The Camaro had a 3500lb Hayes street and strip clutch with a Muncie M22 rock crusher behind it. The rear end was 4:11 posi with Zoom gears.
There was not a Ford, Dodge or another Chevy in town that could keep up in the 1/4. I ran against 351's ( both Cleveland and Windsor) 429 Cobra Jets , hemi's that were not stock.
That little 327 was like a 2 stroke. It wound up real fast and tight. I would get them out of the hole and was gone. I was gear bound and they would be gaining on me at the end but I would cross the line first.

Jeez, those were the good ol'days for me. Then I got married and each toy had to go one at a time .I'm starting to tear up....

RKR, I was referring to the 55-265 that out did all the Fomoco 272's, 292's & 312's. My dad had a new 57 Fairlane 500 with a 292 and my buddy's 55 Chevy with a 265 powerglide would smoke it from a standing start, mid range and top end. After a couple of tries, he gave me a 2 car length head start and still beat me. Totally disillusioned with Fomoco.
