Doug, if you are going to compare yourself to one of my fellow Louisianamites (she is from Kentwood, LA), please have the courtesy to spell their name correct. It's Britney not Brittany.
BTW, I went thru a mud hole in a truckers parking lot beside a McDonald's that turned out to be so deep, I drug and bent my rear stairs.

I do that, but the bane of my existence is my TV antenna. I don't put it up often, but when I do, you can bet serious money that I'll leave it up till at least the first fuel stop.
I n my old Roo, I used a small hair clip as a reminder. When I raise the antenna, I put the clip on the battery disconnect switch (which was inside). When it came time to pack up, that clip would remind me to stow the antenna. Then I would put the clip on the antenna handle for the next time I raised it.
The new Rockwood has an outside disconnect, so I'll have to find another place to put it to remind me when we are packing up.

RV Minders work well too:
RVminders: Safety warning system for RVs
They are in essence just slap bracelets which you can find very cheap in dollar stores. You could just take a Sharpie and make your own economically.

I have not used my antenna yet... we do a lot of Streaming with a Roku and my cell phone as a hot spot. While in the Army; I got an Unlimited Data Plan for the DoD from Cingular. After ATT buyout, the plan still active. All you can eat data at 4G LTE for $35. ATT keep sending me "new" deals to get off it... when I camp, I easilly get close to 100GB data usage.
Anyway... just side tracking for a bit.
Might take your idea on the antenna... a "Remove Before Flight" red ribbon/banner.

Doug, You going to compete with OCE for the number of mods done?
In my mind I just had an image of OCW following you picking up parts. [emoji12]

I use these on the awning arm knobs when I tighten them and one on the hitch latch if I need to remember things like ant or other items. They come in various sizes and easily clip on.

Look on the bright side - you could have just as easily taken out your sewer drains. Then you'd really be crying.
