kitchen table wobbly

my kitchen table keeps getting wobbly. I have used a hammer and block of wood to drive the posts down into the floor brackets but after traveling it loosens up again. Is there an easy fix for this? I would replace the posts/sockets if I knew there was a 'better' brand/style out there, but not sure if they are all the same or not.

we have never used our kitchen table for a bed, do not anticipate ever needing to but I don't want to make it permanent just in case... never say never.

I see the newer table mounts look plastic.... mine are "pot-metal" looking, but they never get loose. I have three legs on mine... that may also help. I would drill and tap holes for set screws in the base if I wanted security. I would drill through the leg and let the set screw go into the hole. Just an idea.
