Landing Gears

I have the gears in one of my landing legs starting to strip looks pretty easy to change, my question is do you have to remove the leg to change the gears.

Well put the gears in last night, greased up everything, hit the switch and took out the new gears, pulled the foot of the leg and bearing parts fell out, took it apart and it's a mess, new leg will be here tomorrow and I ordered one for the lead side just in case.

Thanks for letting us know what you've done.

Can you post pics of the leg torn apart?

Thanks. That's pretty interesting. The new should last a lot longer.
