We use filtered water from home and never drink water from the campgrounds after an episode of contaminated water in campground piping. Many campers I found out later had the same symptoms as my family had, after we recovered from the illness.
All of my faucets in RV are plastic, which I don't care for, but haven't changed them out yet as they still work, and possibly maybe because I have lead in my back end.

this was just an fyi . since so many seem to care about what they are putting in their bodies and in on the earth .i found it a bit unusual to see the low lead content . it has been something they've been trying to get rid of for over 50yrs thought they made more progress .

X2 on carrying water for drinking and making coffee. Not only is there a concern of lead in the water, I have removed my share of restrictions in the coffe pot from "hard water". If hard water can stop up plumbing, always wonder what it does to human plumbing. For these reason, will deal with the extra weight of a case of bottled water for drinking and 5 gallons to make coffee. Still carry CLR to on clog the outlets and screens on various facuets and shower heads.

I never drink the water from my camper faucets without filtering it thru a zero water filtration pitcher which is always in my fridge

However, we usually drink bottled water that we purchase from the supermarket in 2.5 gallon containers.
