Leaking Skylight....

Last week we had a huge hail storm with marble sized hail. I ran out after work and checked the TT out and it looked as if I dodged a bullet and we survived the storm. It has been raining today, this evening I went out to take inventory of what's in the trailer for our next trip this Friday and I have water all over the kitchen counter and floor.

What is the best quick fix for repairing a skylight? I won't have time nor do I want to deal with a dealership on such a small matter.

My thoughts are just taking some caulk around the edges and cracks, but is there something special or stronger that would be better?

Depends on the size of the cracks causing the leaks.
Dircor self leveling or Eternabond tape until you get a new skylight replaced by you or dealer.

Here is what i did and it worked great on two long cracks in a sky light. I went to Walmart and bought a tube of Lazer Bond that did the trick for sealing the cracks and no leaks. its the stuff you have seen on TV that cures with uv light

leaking skylight

a month ago I brought my a frame out of winter storage and every skylight had cracked a a corner, just before my trip to Montana. I used a hair dryer to warm up the plexiglass to room temperature and put black duct tape on it. Good enough for a quick fix but not long term. That may require ensuring all moisture is out from under the skylight and then use Crazyglue in the crack. You need a continuous thin bead to soak down into the crack to seal it.
Test it before you leave.
If the leak is under the caulking around the perimeter use the indispensable tape that everyone recommends. Search for the thread on leaking skylights.

I am assuming they are hair line cracks, I inspected the skylights and bathroom vent thoroughly after the storm and I couldn't tell anything visually. Today was the first day of rain since then and it's just been little drips inside.

Thank y'all for the speedy replies! I'll go to Walmart tomorrow and try the Lazer Bond first and see what happens.

Leaking Skylight....

Update of what I found and how I repaired it.

This is the little crack that I found on the edge of the skylight.

For a quick and easy repair I went to Walmart and bought a $12 can of clear FlexSeal. I cleaned the area and applied a nice thick coat. The directions say to wait 24 hours and apply another coat if needed, or to wait 48 hours for their product to fully cure before testing.
