Fridge starts up at the start of the season and remains on and fully stocked. Run it on the road as well while under way. At the end of the season I empty it and shut it off for the winter.

Dometic absorption refrigerator, stays on 24/7/365, parked in a barn, on site, ready to roll at a moments notice.

I had a dometic frig in an old slide in truck camper ,first camper I ever had . I had that camper for since 1986 sold it 2 years ago and the frig still worked. I never left in running, only when we used it. But if you have a residential unit you are probably correct in leaving it on.

Even though we store our TT on our property, and we do sometimes enjoy sleeping out there in between trips, no we do not keep the refrigerator running. After each trip, the refrigerator gets a thorough cleaning and then I leave the doors slightly open to prohibit any condensation/mold issues.

Care about what? The mold, condensation, or being clean? I would hate to see your frig. LOL

The original concern, as i read, was about was whether to leave a fridge Plugged up, as with power, or not, when you are not in the RV. The refrigerator does not care.
You MAY care, yes, if you leave food stuffs inside and unplug it, as your sarcasm goes, you are correct.

I believe FormerFR is answering the thread's title question: " Leave Refrigerator Running?"
