LED lights won't turn off

First time out in our 2016 30QBSS. I turned the outside LED light strip underneath the awning on and off a couple times from the inside control panel and it worked fine. Then last night I turned it on and it won't turn back off. Has anyone had this issue? Does this have anything to do with the awning being opened? I am plugged in to electric if that matters. Any input is appreciated, thank you.

Awning needs to be open. Look at the top where the wires for the lights are check them. Later RJD

Very likely the switch fell apart inside and is "shorting across the contacts. Easy check open panel with switch, remove lead from either side and that should rule out bad switch. If lights remain on........

If you used the remote to turn them on, you must use the remote to turn them off. The switch will not work.

It was the remote, thanks Flybob. I must have hit the light button after I had already turned it on with the switch. Thanks all.
