LED terminology explanation needed

I want to buy some led replacements for my toyhauler. The ones I am looking at are the 36 panel type. Some desriptions say 36 led panel warm white and others say 36 led 5050 panel warm white. What is the difference? What does the 5050 mean? Also I guess there is no risk ordering from China through ebay with a paypal account?

ALWAYS A risk ordering from China. I would go with a US importer of those items like Superbright, at least they have some good documented customer service.

I have ordered from China via ebay and paypal several times.
Got a car charger for a cell phone for 99 including shipping!
How do they do that??
Also got a USB cable for a cell phone for $1.99 incl shipping.

Also bought 2 landscape high intensity LED spots that were in machined
aluminum housings. Looked great and work great.
Got 2 for less than a single LED flood from Lowes home store.
I needed spots anyway.
Those were not via Ebay but did come from China.
Took about 3 weeks, maybe a little less.

The 5050 refers to the actual size of the LED package that is soldered to the circuit board. That size is 5.0 x 5.0 mm., so approximately a 1/4 in. square. If one of your choices does not give a 4 digit number in its description for size the only way to compare them is by light output which is lumens.

I have ordered several LED lights on eBay that are from China. All have worked and all are still working. I would prefer not to get LEDs from China, but the price difference drives me to do it.
