Because even a good quality tire won't last long on an RV. It's not like a passenger vehicle where you can expect to get 50-70k miles out of a good set of tires. Tires are made to be used. Not sitting, getting sun exposure, dry-rotting, being put under extreme weight loads constantly, many being pulled at faster speeds than rated for, etc. Myself and others too live by the rule of replacing tires every 4 years no matter how they look.

And I've seen this a hundred times. Don't just assume your tires are 15 months old because that is the manufacture date of the RV.
