Don't tell anyone, but by putting the radio in the AUX in mode, then turning it off seems to work !!!

It could still come on, you just would not know it. That makes for a unknown draw on the 12 volt system.

I have checked it several times in the last few days, still no sound & no lights !!
This is the best I have found !!!
