Here in Arkansas, I paid 36 dollars for a lifetime tag. 32BHDS Salem that has a dry weight of 7900 lbs.
They get us back with the sales tax on everything, and state income tax.

We paid $190.00 for a permanent plate on 2013 Rockwood last year.

$20 a year in North Dakota for travel trailers no matter whar size. Not sure about 5th wheels. Pop up was $20, 21ft tt was $20 and current trailer 34ft $20. Boat trailer has utility plates $5.

In Indiana, you pay sales tax AND an excise tax based on value along with your $30 plate fee. We renew in April, so we had already paid $68 dollars or something like that on our '08 Trail Cruiser hybrid. When we got our 2014 261BHXL in June, I had a credit of $45 from the older trailer, and paid $115, including another $30 plate fee, even though we just used the same plate with the same tags. It's a racket for sure. But all our other taxes are pretty low.
