Life is good

Nothing better than beautiful weather, the outdoors, & an instant pot fuel of pinto beans & ham hocks [emoji39]

Every other Sunday was BIG ham dinner with mom/dad and relatives. Every Monday after was Ham / Bean soup. Ate so much of that growing up, just the smell make me want to barf.

Mom did have a old Italian Spaghetti sauce recipe from a friend of her's..full Sicilian. Took two days to simmer the sauce down. I could never eat enough of that. Lost the recipe after mom passed in 88.
