Light between electric / gas water heater switches

We just set up our 323 MK Wildcat. Yes, I have another question for the knowledgeable people out there. I am hooked up to 30 amp power at a campground. I checked the power box and it reads everything is ok. My surge protector says same. Is the light between the switches supposed to come on? I tried both switches on, both off, and one on one off. Doesn't light up.

I'm pretty sure that's the DSI fault light. If the electronic ignition on the propane side of the water heater doesn't light after a few attempts, it'll come on.

I've never messed with the Atwoods, the one's I've had were Suburban. Most likely, you just turn it off and turn it back on. That should really only happen if you either run out of propane or there's air in the line when you first try to light it.

The switch on the left is for running the water heater on electric. The switch on the right is for running the water heater on propane. If the light comes on when the right switch is turned on that means the propane burner did not lite.
If this happens, turn the switch off and back on again. If the light continues to come on when you turn on the switch then the propane is not turned on at the cylinder or the water heater is malfunctioning and needs repair.
