Limb took out my antenna and sky3 plastic antenna cover
Third trip out, big bummer. FR says I have to purchase the entire sky3 booster as there are no parts available.....really! Booster seems to work fine, but won’t for long being exposed to the elements. Does anyone have a hack that might work. Also, putting the antenna in travel position only ensures more damage to the mount.
to bad about the tree and your rig don't know anything about the wifi booster however if you have to get a new TV antenna give this product a look If my batwing fails I'm going to this. https://www.antennasdirect.com/clear...UaAnsPEALw_wcB

I have onee of those and the marketing hype is much better than the performance of the antenna.

That good to hear I was not recommending just saying give it a look from what I have read it sounded like a good product. With that said the ole batwing and wingman work well.

I screwed up the the sky 3 Antenna when covering my camper last winter. Wifi ranger will upgrade you to the Sky4(new cover with the daisy-chained antenna and a new chipset on the Motherboard). I think it was $80 or $90 with shipping. Honestly though, I've never camped anywhere the Wifi Ranger ever found a usable signal that my computer couldn't find. It may improve it slightly but that's about it.
There certainly should be warnings on every tree near a road, "Caution, these tree limbs will reach out and down and slap you silly, my first encounter was coming home with the new fifthwheel, turned the corner and that darn tree made it attack.

Off topic, but me too. Parked near some trees, forgot to consider the trailer height, pulled out and higher branches ( which were cut off by road crews to nice sharp points ) scratched all down the upper passenger side of the trailer. I am lucky they did not tear the metal!! And I've camped a couple of times near fellow RV'ers who are busy repairing roof damage cause by trees that were lower than they thought. We need a OEM 'Tree Alarm'... (:>
