Mine came with a hose to connect directly to a 20# tanks. RV Has a quick disconnect so I bought that also.

Lol- Cheese steaks were phenomenal, smash burgers not so much!

I did get the hood and got installed yesterday. I didn't find it difficult to install as others have stated. Took all of 5 min and I think it will be worth the $59 dollars in the long run.

Been looking for some sort of grill for the trailer. Saw this thread and after some research thought this might work better than a bbq for me since I love breakfast when camping. Looked around online but they seem to be scarce. Wife looked a walmart online and there were a few around but wasn't sure if our local store had one. Got up early and hit the store before work and sure enough, they had one left on the top of the rack. $74! Headed out next week on a week long trip so this will be great!

You will love it. Just season it well. I did mine in the oven at home like 4 times before I used it.

Thanks for tips!

Called propane gear and they hope to have the conversion kits back in stock by the end of next week or the week after. Guess I'll need to refill a few gas bottles before we go...

Here is a recipe to break in your grill, take a half a bag of doritos and smash them up in a bowl, take a 1/4 cup of pickled jalapeños and chop them up fine, ad into a pound of burger and MIX THOROUGHLY, cook on your grill, all this burger needs is ketchup, (or mustard if that’s your thing) no cheese, or relish etc.

Ad the tall cool one of your choice and now you are ruined for life!

Hard to eat a boring burger again.

Recipe can be done the sane way with regular potato chips and onions, same thing, just needs ketchup.

Now your grill is ready for steaks and such!

X2 on the blackstone 17. Chicken fajitas with peppers and onions the best item thus far. We pre pack meals with the uncooked seasoned chicken pieces and on&peps in two seperate freezer bags. Take some 5 carb flour soft shells and white cheese in the frig. Frezzer to table is about 30 minutes Like most blackstone meals, it all cooks on the griddle. We now leave the grill at the house. We have had ours for over a year and it must be the gen 1 version as the drip tray is on the left front. I need to update my bay pics, but the blackstone fits well in the 2300. It fits the long bay (driver side) behind aft of the generator. In the water filter bay on the passenger side it will also fit with either an electric oil heater or a lasko carpet fan (seasonal)..

Interesting to see the Blackstone take off. We first saw it last summer, camping with a group. One of the members of the group had the 36" one. Man was that heavy, but worked great for a large group. We liked it so much we started looking into it. We found the 17" table top version, got one, after a few weeks of trial and error and trips to the hardware store, we were able to reconfigure the grill with a quick connect to connect to the trailer. Used it the rest of the season. About a month ago we came across the 22" model at walmart, and decided to purchase that one. Came with a stand with a table extension, which is a lot better than carrying around a dedicated table for it. Swapped the connections from the 17" to 22" (and used the 22" pieces back on the 17" and now it works on 1lb or 20lb tanks) and we couldnt be happier with it. It is a bit heavier than we prefer, but it cooks everything perfectly, stands on its own, came complete with the cover. When we first started using it, seemed the consensus was WebberQ or nothing, and now it seems to be shifting a little. We also ended up buying the 36" for the house.

I love going Japanese steak house style on it. Shrimp fried rice comes out great! Just use cooled white rice vegies of choice soy, hoysen garlic onions, salt, pepper eggs scrambled and cook it all up and make your neighbors jealous. You can also sub the rice for linguine if you would rather do steak and noodles minus the egg.
